Just a piano (ofc)
Just a piano (ofc)
I've always found music deeply beautiful and it is very important for me. While I enjoy a wide range of genres, classical music has always appealed to me. I've been playing the piano for over a decade at the time of writing, and it remains an important part of my life. I often feel that this passion has also helped shape my sense of curiosity in physics. This paper explores that ''connection'' (if you may) in particular.
I suppose it has mathematical beauty. Popular to contrary belief, I don't hate biology.
My brag pieces (can't list all, but these are my go to):
Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 in E flat major, Op. 73
Chopin's Ballade No. 1 in G minor, Op. 23
Chopin's Ballade No. 4 in F minor, Op. 52
Feinberg's Piano Sonata No. 3 in G minor, Op. 3
Songs I am learning to play:
Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18
Scriabin's Piano Sonata No. 6 in G major, Op. 62
The ones that I want to learn soon (again, can't list all):
Liszt's Nuages gris
Prokofiev's Piano Sonata No. 7 in B flat major, Op. 83
Debussy's Des pas sur la neige
Ravel's Gaspard de la nuit
Schoenberg's Drei Klavierstücke
Apart from music, I'm really interested in rifle shooting (I'm trained and certified, don't worry) and horse riding (across mountains)!
I enjoy programming a lot (too much).
I program in various languages and I learned 3D modelling as well. Visualizing physics is a really beautiful endeavor, so I've got many physics simulations and video games that've been crafted myself. I love to see artificial intelligence grow and I'm trying to learn much more about it.
A render of Uranus as modelled by me
Herr Einstein and Chaplin stealing the eye (Probably 1931)
Here are some people born on the day that I'm born on:
Gerard Kuiper (Often said to be the father of modern planetary science)
Leopold Kronecker (Who doesn't use δᵢⱼ)
Noam Chomsky (Hmm)
David Goffin (In fact, he was also the world's 7th best at some point)
Larry Bird (The Hick from the French Lick)
Theodor Schwann (Added cells to animals)
